Level 2 –“Wine Wrangler Adventure” Tour – Paso Robles
Are you adventurous? Are you interested in a tour that has no specific preplanned or prepackaged route? On this tour, mixed groups party together on one Comfortable Air Conditioned Shuttle. We offer a Semi-Customized tour that identifies what you like or want to learn about wine and then set out on the trail to find it! This is the tour adventure for you!
Mixed Groups are picked up at various hotels. (Pick up at Beach Bungalow is between 9:45am-10am).
What’s Included:
A deli style vineyard picnic lunch is included – Vegetarian available upon request.
Requests for wineries can be made.
Tour of winery included if requested.

Hearst Castle Tour
This tour is recommended for first-time visitors. It also has the fewest stairs to climb. Every evening, W. R. Hearst’s guests gathered in the grand social rooms on the ground floor of Casa Grande (his formal name for the twin-towered building, or main house). Follow their footsteps and experience what it was like to be a guest at The Enchanted Hill—known today as Hearst Castle. At the end of the guided portion of your tour, stroll on your own through the gardens and wander at your leisure around the Neptune Pool and the Roman Pool—just as Mr. Hearst’s guests did in the 1920s and 1930s. Please wear comfortable clothing and light layers.

7:45-8:15 AM Wine Wrangler Tour Guide picks you up at your Beach Bungalow Inn and Suites. Enjoy the scenic view as you make your journey over to the Enchanted Hill.
Arrive at Hearst Castle and view the 40 minute National Geographic IMAX Movie “Building the Dream”
Venture up to the top of the Enchanted Hill to begin your 45minute ―Grand Rooms Museum Tour.‖ After the guided tour you will then have approximately. 45 more minutes to explore the beautiful grounds before heading back to the Visitors Center to meet your Wine Wrangler Guide.
Hop back on board the Wine Wrangler and go across Hwy 1 to the beach for a leisurely picnic lunch provided by The Wine Wrangler. (Picnic at Visitors Center if inclement weather)
Drive down the road and visit the elephant seals at the Piedras Blancas Rookery.
Head into downtown Cambria for Shopping or go to a winery for a wine-tasting.
Journey back to your hotel. Drop-off will be between 3:00-4:30 depending on location.

DC COURSE INFORMATION :
Dairy Creek Golf Course is the newest of the three courses operated by San Luis Obispo County Parks. This “links-like” course is located on El Chorro Regional Park land just east of Highway 1 between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay, it boasts some incredible elevation changes, forced carries over water and rocky arroyos. The bentgrass greens will put the steadiest stroke to the test. Add tricky sea breezes whipping around nearby Hollister Peak and suddenly you’ve got a 6,548-yard course to be reckoned with. Dairy Creek Golf Course: Designed by architect, John Harbottle (Stevinson Ranch, Genoa Lakes), Dairy Creek offers a true test of golf, without disturbing the natural habitats and beauty of the land.

Morro Bay Golf Course is the number one “must play” golf course on the central coast, Morro Bay is a favorite among seniors, juniors and anyone who wants to feel they’re playing a Pebble Beach-like track at a fraction of the cost. On a clear day, the tree lined fairways and ocean views are stunning, so bring your camera! Situated inside Morro Bay State Park and Estuary, the course is located along Highway 1 just 12 miles Northwest of San Luis Obispo, California. This beautiful facility offers hilly terrain, placing a premium on club selection, but the real test comes in the putting. Crowned by Black Hill above and the sweeping Pacific Ocean below, Morro Bay Golf Course has a straightforward, traditional feel and a refreshing lack of manmade trickery.
Notice the many species of birds that call Morro Bay home, where Audubon International has bestowed “Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” status on the course. But don’t get into a putting contest with the locals, lest you become their favorite type of bird, the pigeon.
